Usher and Scooter Braun join Justin Bieber in Panama for a "Save Justin Summit"
According to reports, Usher has flown to Panama for a sit down with Justin Bieber.
Sources close to TMZ report Usher flew to Panama for a serious come-to-Jesus with JB following his much publicized arrest in Miami.
Sources also report Justin's manager Scooter Braun, and Justin's childhood friend Ryan Butler, are also there for the sit-down. It would be no surprise to me if Scooter has his own sit down with Usher. Scooter has been MIA during most of JB's public exploits, only coming out of the woodwork after Justin's arrest in Miami. A tweet posted by Scooter just goes to show his further avoidance of addressing any Bieber related issues head on.
Been a long day. Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts. Love fully in good times and bad.
— Scooter Braun (@scooterbraun) January 24, 2014
Scooter has been conspicuously absent through Bieber's very public downward spiral. This appears to me to be a strategy to keep the Bieber machine going. It's PR 101, really. By refusing to comment on the escalating lapses in judgement by his client, Scooter is attempting to dismiss the events as being blown out of proportion by the media and not worthy of comment. Behind closed doors, damage control is kicking into high gear. Justin, Usher and a reluctant Scooter Braun, posed for pics with a woman who appears to be a Panamanian Belieber. Worth noting... even the fan who posted the Usher pic acknowledges Justin has hit rough times, describing him as "the youth idol who some love and many others hate."

Justin Bieber arrested for DUI, drag racing and resisiting arrest
Justin Bieber is quickly turning into Canada's version of Lindsay Lohan.
Early this morning, after leaving SET nightclub in Miami Beach in a yellow Lamborghini, Justin Bieber was spotted by police drag racing in a residential area close to the club. Sources say Bieber's camp actually blocked off the street so Justin and rapper Khalil could race. The Def Jam recording artist, driving a red Ferrari, was subsequently arrested for drag racing as well.
Justin had more than a few cross words for law enforcement and dropped several F bombs before being taken into custody. Bieber was arrested and booked for DUI, drag racing, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest without violence. Police are also testing him, presumably for a more precise blood alcohol level. Justin admitted to being under the influence of RX drugs and weed, in addition to alcohol.
Riding shotgun with Justin was Chantel Jeffries, model and serial star dater. Whats more, Justin's own father was one of the people who helped block off the street so he could race! Sources say Justin's dad was with him all day and at the nightclub, fully aware of the drug and alcohol use.
This is a 19 kid with an unlimited supply of money and surrounded by seemingly passive handlers. Without someone to step up and say no to the cash cow, Bieber will undoubtedly join the list of countless other child stars who paid the price of fame. Surrounded by an entourage of opportunists and fame hungry leeches feeding his ego fueling the machine that is Justin Bieber, it appears there is nobody willing to put the brakes on this impending train wreck. Hopefully, someone will be able to convince him to seek treatment before he ends up on VH1 "Behind the Music" or an E! True Hollywood Story.

Gosselin Twins Diss Kate Gosselin on 'Today Show'
Looks like someone is getting snubbed yet again for Mother of the Year.
Kate Gosselin's twins, Mady and Cara made it clear that they are no longer going along with Kate's futile attempt to try and convince us all that her family has been unaffected by all the camera's, publicity stunts and very public break up with their father, Jon.
The fame hungry matriarch of the Gosselin clan was met with quiet defiance by her twin daughters this morning on the "Today Show". As if their facial expressions and body language didn't show their disdain for their mother's attempt to control them, their answers to Savannah Guthrie's questions, or lack thereof, is proof the girls are no longer afraid to show their true feelings.
I can only imagine the wrath these girls received once the cameras stop rolling.

The Met’s Costume Institute Is Now ‘The Anna Wintour Costume Center’ (Really) - via Fashionista.com by Dhani Mau
Getty |
In honor of her relationship with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute the Met is giving Anna Wintour a little belated Christmas gift. Nothing excessive — it’s just re-naming the entire Costume Institute exhibition space after her. It will here on out be known as The Anna Wintour Costume Design Center. “Just gonna kick around the Anna Wintour Costume Design Center after brunch.” Rolls right off the tongue.
Additionally, the space is being renovated and getting a redesign to be unveiled on May 8 with the debut of Charles James: Beyond Fashion. The curatorial department itself will still be called The Costume Institute.
The renaming makes sense: In addition to rallying her wealthy friends and colleagues to raise money for the organization — to the tune of $125 million — Wintour has likely had a bigger hand in the annual exhibitions and galas than we even know. More concretely, she’s been a Trustee of the Met since January 1999, serving as benefit chair and fundraiser. Other official duties include “helping to secure sponsorships and funding for exhibitions as well as for the two-year renovation and other projects,” according to a release sent out by the museum.
“Anna Wintour’s extraordinary advocacy and fundraising have made this state-of-the-art space a reality,” said Daniel Brodsky, the Museum’s Chairman. “She has the rare ability to rally diverse groups across a wide range of industries to support The Costume Institute so it can educate and inspire visitors from around the world.”
Thomas P. Campbell, director and CEO of the Met, called Wintour “an exceptional benefactor, advocate and friend.”
Since we doubt the Met did this without Wintour’s permission, we presume Wintour is on board with one of New York’s most iconic institutions using her name. So, congrats, Anna! We can’t wait to see the AWCC for ourselves. Hopefully there’s also some sort of framed photo or stone bust involved.

It's Tasty Tuesday!!!
If you're like me (and millions of people around the world), you have decided 2014 is going to be the year to get fit and healthy.
In years past, I would get on a health kick, stock up on unsweetened juices, protein bars that tasted like I was eating drywall, and working out twice a day. Needless to say, that lasted about a week. Sore and starving, I gave up and went back to the old routine.
Well not this year! I have been introduced to an amazing company and products that will keep you on track and motivated. The proof is in the results, and you will see results. With products like this you'll feel like every day is a "cheat" day. Almond Joy Protein Shake?! Yes, please!!!
MODERE ALMOND JOY PROTEIN SHAKE
(Simple Slim-Down Plan Friendly)
Blend:
- 1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
- 2 scoops Modere Triple Thick Chocolate Protein Shake
- 2 tbsp Almond Butter
- sprinkle of coconut
- 5 ice cubes

Out with the old... How to know when to get rid of your make up
Toss aside expired makeup and start the year afresh.
Beauty products have expiration dates, unfortunately, there’s no easy way to find out what they are.
“The risk of using old products is, first and foremost, bacteria,” says Sephora PRO Erik Soto. “If you’re acne-prone, they will cause breakouts.” And of course, the secondary risk is having makeup that goes on wonky and skincare that plain doesn’t work (a big risk, when you consider SPF is one of the most expiration-prone products). The Glossy picked Soto’s brain for the best ways to know whether to give your goods the kiss off.
DO A SMELL TEST
“When you first get the product, see what it smells like, because you want to be sure it maintains that same consistency,” says Soto. “Check it at 30, 60, and 90 days to see if it’s changed. If any skincare or product has a sour or waxy smell, it’s an indicator that it may be going bad. I’d toss it and get a new one.”
CHECK YOUR BEAUTY BAG
“I’ve seen people take a label maker to their makeup!” says Soto. A less sticky option? Check “My Beauty Bag” on Sephora.com—you’ll be able to see when you purchased things to know how long they’ve been sitting pretty.
WATCH FOR HIGH-RISK MAKEUP:
MASCARA
“Mascara lasts only about six weeks from when it was opened,” says Soto, adding that resisting the urge to pump your wand is a good idea (the extra air also causes the product to dry out faster). “If you feel bad throwing it away, use it for another purpose: in your brows for texture or to touch up your roots if you have dark hair.”
FOUNDATION
“If it comes out of the tube separated, it’s been sitting too long in one place. You want to shake it up, because foundations do separate naturally—but if you know it’s more than six months old or smells funny, toss it.”
LIPSTICK AND LIP GLOSS
“Lip gloss is susceptible to bacteria because it’s gooey. It’s easy to tell when a lipstick is going bad because it starts to smell really waxy.”
OTHER LIQUIDS
The more water content a product has, the more chance the formula has to be compromised or worse, germy. “Liquid eyeliners and cream blushes can get old,” says Soto, adding, “if your compact has a sponge in it, make sure the sponge is completely dry before you put it back in the compact.”
…AND DON’T SHARE
Mom was right. “Don’t share makeup!” says Soto. “Especially mascara. That’s why we makeup artists use disposable mascara wands and other tools like brushes to apply mascara!”
